Hi Wendy! Tanglin Trust School here in Singapore launched our first Foundation Honour Board in Sept last year. I also felt the ‘online’ inspiration was just not working so we spent a bit of time with our usual vendor that installs boards at the school. He is not really a designer but could give us ideas of materials to work with. We ended up going with a design (albeit about 8 rounds of designs!), that matched our Foundation branding (white, gold and blue) as well as looked like other boards around the school.
The board is white metal, with gold borders and the plaques are white magnetic as we required the plaques to be moveable (as donors progress into higher membership levels). Names on plaques are blue.
Infront of the board we went with a clear acrylic, steady with bolts at the corners. We did a separate acrylic at the top with the foundation logo and ‘slogan’.
