    Hello Wendy,

At St Gregory’s College the Director of Administration office books and manages the Professional photographers. He works in conjunction with the ‘Heads of Year’ and ‘Co-Curricular Managers’ to ensure all sports, co-curricular, and year group shots are taken.

The ordering is done directly through the professional photographer’s website and delivery is back to the school, with the photos ordered being distributed through homerooms.

I have access to the images on the photogrpahers database (we get a login) as I manage all Media here at the College, so I download the headshots and group shots and save them on our media drive for reference and add them into our yearbook.

IT downloads headshots in their format for our student management system and ID cards.

Send me an email directly if you would like more information or happy to chat (mwatts@stgregs.nsw.edu.au)

    Kind regards,
    Melissa

Hi Leah, We didn’t move to that in my team. I kept everyone in the Marketing Team Folder so all comms/pubicatin creatives sit in a shared folder.
    Hope this helps?

Hello! We run a large charity event every year with approx 700 people in the room, and around 100 silent auction prizes and also raffle tickets, and we use Gala Bid. I cannot fault them.
They had a representative there on the night and also offer prizes for your silent auction with a fixed reserve. If you don’t go over reserve you dont pay anything. Anything over reserve you keep the profits! You can customize your page to your event theme and they have great assistance before, during and after the event. Happy to chat further if you would like. Kind regards.

    Hello,
We publish newsletters Weeks 2, 5 & 8 each term. We send 1634 emails and we have an 82% open rate. This also depends on the newsletter information and stories, but generally around this %. We can drill down to what pages are also being read the most and our newsletters are generally not a repeat of our social media pages, so we do have a better engagement on stories. If they are worried about the open rates being low, maybe they need to limit their newsletters to a few times a month and not weekly ordo an ‘audit’ of the news being shared; is it repeat news, is it too long to keep their attention, are the stories ‘boring’ ect.. and possibly do a parents survey about why they do not read it, are they getting it in their Inbox or Spam, how often would they like to see a newsletter?
    Hope this helps?

    Hello,
We use a company called Easy Signs for all our large format printing (we have a print room here at the College for other print jobs).
They are specialists in the print field but also do marquees/gazebos, pull up signs, stretch banners, crowd control barriers ect.. and we have used them for all of it!
Amazing work, 24 hour turnaround time for most print jobs. We have just had a gazebo/marquee delivered for our College Experience Day and it is great! Quality is perfect and it is branded and printed in our College colours.

    Hope this helps.

    Good afternoon,
We were doing one until it became far too hard to maintain along with everything else and limited human resource. I would like to continue one!
For context, we printed enough to send to Alumni and have for Boarding Expos, Open Day and College Tours. I know it’s very expensive to print, but we had our Foundation Development Board pay for the printing costs. It is a form of marketing that is yet another layer of showcasing your College that isn’t all about the curriculum ect.. it really showcases all the co-curricular, mission and service options that ALL students can enjoy!

Hello, we just deleted ours from our website! It was too time consuming for adding events and changing events on a daily basis. We print a calendar for our families each year and also at the beginning of each term we have a Term Calendar we circulate too. We also upload events for parents in the Parent App.
