HI Paul, we also ran our first giving day this year and had limited resources. There was a direct correlation between the call center calls and donations, so if you can muster up a few people to help on the phones, you will see a direct connection. We ran a gold coin sausage sizzle for our secondary students, we had a couple of bands play at a key drop off location, encouraging gold coin donations. For our junior school and ELC we ran a coin trail where we chalked out the word CARE and classes came up throughout the day to add their coins or tokens. We swapped coloured tokens matching house colours out for the coins. The winning house won the right to name the next farm animal.
Hope this is helpful and best of lucky.

    cheers, Di Lacey, Tintern Grammar

Hello again, we are actually looking for a venue for a Chapter reunion in Sydney, any ideas? Afternoon timing to fit in with Principal committments – 3.30 – 6pm on a sunday afternoon? We haven’t done a chapter reunion for a while so are thinking we should cover the costs? interested to hear from those who run chapter reunions and how to make them successful.

    Thanks for your help, Di

Hey EMiliy, do you run this format on the weekend or a Friday night? I am interested in your timing of the event. We have traditionally held our reunions on campus, but just this year have switched to tour, drinks and nibbles then dinner offsite and we have found the timing tricky. Cheers, Di
