Hi Mandy, at ELTHAM College we have moved totally away from advdertising in hard and digital format directories. It is hard to gauge which is/are the most effective and preferred by parents, alongside whether they actually influence the school choice and decision making. I find they are not sophisticated enough either with provision of evidence and information to justify return on investment and they just offer a stock standard package approach, which is very dated in today’s advdertising landscape. Paid social media spend and investment in our own channels such as website, facebook and instagram is much more effective. We do still have outdoor advertising in our mix if/when appropriate, such as recently we used promiment billboards for our Open Day.
