Just getting started? Hear from three of our members based in NSW who kicked-started their Alumni engagement strategies after years of lying dormant! This SIG will consist of a panel discussion and open forum for participants. 

 

Panel

Jo Hutchens, Director of Advancement, Arden Anglican School

Jo is an experienced Marketing Director with a demonstrated history of working in independent education, below-the-line advertising, trade fair and conference management. Skilled in not-for-profit organisations, marketing, advertising, event management, fundraising and volunteer engagement. Jo is passionate about corporate standards, branding, storytelling and event choreography.


Lyn Jarvis, Director of Community Engagement, St Andrew’s Cathedral School

Lyn is an engagement specialist working in developing and nurturing communities to form a powerful force in education. With over twenty years experience in aligning stakeholder groups with the values of organisations, facilitating and enabling connections with the community and each other, Lyn is also experienced in stakeholder management, communication, fundraising, partnerships, public speaking, alumni engagement and volunteer management.


Philippa Zingales, Director of Alumni Relations – PLC Sydney

Philippa is a communications and relationship management professional with experience in corporate, not-for-profit and education. In her current role, Philippa oversees the alumni engagement program for one of Australia’s oldest and most respected independent schools for young women, PLC Sydney.

Myfanwy Stanfield, NSW/ACT Chapter President, Director of Enrolments and Community at Ascham School

Following a career in the performing arts in both Australia and the UK, and in the not for profit Disability Arts Sector, Myfanwy has worked in the Independent Education sector in New South Wales for over 13 years.

Her professional focus is on internal and external relationship development, customer service and reputation marketing, delivered through strategic and creative enrolment, marketing and communications plans.
