PLC Sydney is seeking a Marketing & Content Creator to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. We’re looking for someone with a strong eye for storytelling and who is skilled in bringing ideas to life through high-quality visual and written content.
About the Role:
In this role, you will play a key role in showcasing the life of the PLC Sydney community, crafting compelling messages, and producing multimedia content that resonates with diverse audiences. This may include photography, videography, graphic design, and copywriting to bring the PLC Sydney story to life. Your content will feature across the College’s social media platforms, website, and marketing campaigns, supporting strategic priorities such as student enrolment, community engagement, and major College events.
Key responsibilities include:
• Content Creation & Storytelling: You will be the eyes and ears of our school, capturing high-quality images and videos of daily life and special events. Your talent for writing will bring these stories to life in articles, social posts, and other publications.
• Social Media & Website Support: You’ll help manage our social media platforms, scheduling engaging posts and interacting with our community online. You’ll also play a key role in keeping our website fresh and up-to-date with the latest news and events.
• Marketing & Campaigns: You will contribute to the heart of our marketing efforts, assisting with the design and production of campaign assets. Your creative input will be vital in developing new and exciting ways to connect with our audience.
Key Skills & Experiences:
• Content Creation: Proven experience in marketing, communications, or a similar role. Must be skilled in creating content for websites, social media, and email campaigns, with confidence in capturing and editing both photography and video.
• Technical Proficiency: Expertise in editing software like Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro and Canva.
• Organisational & Team Skills: A self-starter with strong organisational skills, capable of managing competing priorities. Comfortable using content scheduling tools and collaborative platforms like Google Suite.
Desirable Skills & Experiences:
• Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in marketing, photography/videography or media.
• Industry Knowledge: Experience in an education or not-for-profit setting will be highly regarded.
• Technical Familiarity: Knowledge of Adobe InDesign, CMS’s, CRM’s, Google Analytics, and Campaign Monitor.
While a Term 3/Term 4 start is preferred, we are open to negotiating a flexible start date for the ideal candidate.
