About the role

King’s College is seeking a highly organised and personable Affiliate & Alumni Administrator to support our valued community of Old Collegians and affiliate groups. This key role is perfect for someone who loves working with people, builds relationships easily, and enjoys ensuring meetings, events and day-to-day activities run smoothly.

You will work closely with the Director of Community & Donor Engagement and act as the go-to support for the Old Collegians Association and affiliated networks. From scheduling meetings and taking accurate minutes to managing databases and responding to enquiries, you’ll help keep our community connected and thriving.

What You’ll Do:
– Support the Old Collegians Association and affiliate groups: Provide day-to-day admin support and be the first point of contact for enquiries
– Coordinate meetings: Schedule meetings, plan locations, prepare agendas and papers, attend meetings (which will include evenings), actions taking accurate minutes and managing follow-up actions
– Assist with events and communications: Support alumni-related events and activities, working with internal teams to make sure everything runs smoothly
– Keep everyone connected: Maintain the alumni databases and records to support engagement and communications
– Deliver excellent service: Be a welcoming and professional point of contact for former students and affiliate representatives

About You:
– Proven administrative experience and strong attention to detail
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills
– Confident at managing meeting schedules, minute-taking and follow-up actions independently
– Warm, approachable and professional, with a genuine interest in community and alumni engagement
– Highly organised with great time-management skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks
– Proficient in Microsoft Office and confident working with databases and email platforms

This role is based is on-site at King’s College. While the standard work week is Monday to Friday, hours will include occasional evenings and some planned weekend work. Where hours are worked outside standard working hours, time in lieu will be provided.
