I do and yes, I find it very worthwhile. It gives you greater visibility on profiles and the tokens for Inmail messages are really important to us. I send a lot of Inmail messages to people where I need to verify their ID or if I’m looking to connect in a particular capacity. You can’t always request a connection (it depends on their profile settings) and in some cases they may not state they attended our school (For everyone who ‘accepts’ an Inmail message I get one credited back to my Inmail limit – which usually sits at somewhere between 15-30). It has been really helpful for us because we’re very much in a development phase and social networks are our primary target for hunting our “lost alumni”. It’s given great results so far and is going to be a major focus for some time yet I expect.
