We keep all Australian Immunisation History Statement (IHS) documents in the student hard and soft file. In VIC, it is a requirement to have an up to date record for 3 Year Old and 4 Year Old Kinder. For Prep-6, it is a requirement to hold a copy, but it does not have to be up to date.
For students coming from overseas, we require them to visit a local GP to update their international immunisation records for the Australian Immunisation Register (Services Australia).
Our School Nurse refers to our Student Files for her management of Immunisations.
Once enrolled, families can upload their updated IHS records through the family portal. I believe we use Schoolbox.
