If it’s purely the appropriate physical storage of items, then I would suggest contacting Archival Survival – or checking out their online catalogue which includes boxes, binders, sheet protectors, archival wrapping paper etc. Angela Henricksen (angela@archivalsurvival.com.au) has been very helpful.
If it’s cataloguing (creating a finding aid), a searchable excel sheet should be fine for a small archive.
