Hi Nicole,
I’ve done this in a previous role in two ways. Firstly, a hashtag for each ‘subject area’ which users followed to keep up with sport, art etc. and also stories that were saved to highlights with the same catergories. These all came through the school’s official account and was managed by the MarComms dept.
