Our school was under the impression that the ‘opt-in’ for photo permission can be completed at the enrolment stage and would be valid for the duration of a student’s enrolment at the school. However, it is a requirement that schools annually remind parents that they should notify the school if they wish to vary that permission. Is this not the case? Do schools have to acquire ‘opt-in’ photo permission annually now?
