We use the NCEC Privacy Manual which outlines in Section 3 all the compliance requirements around sharing photographs. The manual is updated annually and is useful in determining when you need to seek consent. The manual is devised for all Catholic and Independent schools in Australia which are subject to national Privacy legislation. (Government schools are subject to different legislation.) The manual includes a template photo consent form at Annexure 7.
