Hi Anne, we use the same as you. We have plastic name badges that have a metal pin that attaches to clothing.
I’ve had a look at other options and can’t find anything that doesn’t use plastic (plastic is a pet hate of mine!), so I’ve resorted to placing a box at our big events with a sign that reads ‘Please place all name tags in here’ and hoping people return their badges on the way out.
