I am looking at implementation of Schoolbench at my current school, after using at my previous school. It is very hard to track manually when you have a large student body – at my previous school there were 1800 students, with about 300 of them with some kind of restriction. We have just completed the process of updating our Use of Student Images policy so that it gives parents clarity on what their options are, which makes it a lot easier for me. Combining this with facial recognition will absolutely save me hours of checking and rechecking manually, especially in larger groups and how quickly students change as they hit the teens! Our policy also includes specific wording about giving alumni the option of withdrawing permission at any point after graduation.
