We’re migrating to the mirrorless cameras and finding them much lighter and easier to use for long periods. Just purchased a Nikon Z6II with a 24-120mm F4 lens, an external flash gun, an adapter to use our existing Nikon lenses (We have a 70-200mm F2.8 lens for distance work which would cost close to $4k alone to replace.), and a sturdy backpack case with space for a laptop for editing on the fly. That lot came to $5,191 ex GST. It’s also a good camera for video.
You might want to check out a Canon equivalent if you already have lenses that could work with the upgraded body.
