Hi John, we have had some student artwork made into cards. I use these for personalised, handwritten donor communications.
If a donor is also a Collegian I also send them a handwritten card for significant birthdays. I also ensure these are signed by people who have the best connection with the donor.
Another gift which seems to have been well received is a small cheeseboard/platter which was made by a staff member – the connection here is the timber is from a very old tree on the campus (Scotch Oakburn) which had to be removed. Evoked a lot of memories. Nicole
