QLD Chapter Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2025 & Special Interest Group (SIG) Session
The QLD Chapter Committee invite all of our Members to come along and attend our Chapter Annual General Meeting and Special Interest Group session.
The AGM is an opportunity to learn more about the work being done at a Chapter level, both current initiatives and achievements, as well as future goals.
After the AGM, we will then split into groups for the Special Interest Groups which will cover Alumni, Admissions & MarComms and People & Culture.
Alumni: Tracking Alumni to find the “Diamonds in the Rough”

Admissions & MarComms: Crisis Comms and how to bounce back from a Crisis
Facilitators: Scott Huntington, Vanessa Saxby, Brady Downes and Claire Henkey
People & Culture: Understanding the New Blue Card Requirements for School Volunteers: What You Need to Know in 2025 & Who manages it.
From 20 September 2025, new legislation will reshape how volunteers engage with schools across Queensland. These changes are part of a broader reform to strengthen child safety and streamline compliance across education settings.
