You’ll be part of a dynamic group managing various philanthropic initiatives, including major gifts, bequests, annual giving, capital campaigns, and research support. We’re committed to enhancing alumni engagement by expanding networks and using innovative communication, events, and programs.

Your New Role!

Are you ready to make a meaningful impact? In this pivotal role, you’ll partner with the Senior Philanthropy Manager and the Director to design and deliver a strategic, high-value bequest program that supports the University’s long-term philanthropic goals.

You’ll take the lead in managing a portfolio of confirmed and prospective bequest donors, identifying opportunities for transformational gifts and driving engagement through personalised stewardship and a vibrant calendar of events.

This is your chance to shape the future of giving at the University. You’ll collaborate across teams to drive results, share powerful donor stories, and ensure gifts are honoured and celebrated. Along the way, you’ll contribute to a positive, values-driven team culture, actively participating in events, planning, and shared initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and deliver a strategic bequest program with events and personalised donor experiences.
Build meaningful donor relationships and convert interest into confirmed bequests.
Collaborate to meet KPIs, manage estates, and showcase donor impact through compelling stories.

This Continuous, Part time (22.5 hours per week) position attracts a remuneration of HEW0707 $97K – $107K (pro rata) plus 17% employer superannuation contributions.

What you’ll bring to the role:

• Experience in bequest or fundraising programs, with a background in marketing, communications, or philanthropy
• Exceptional communication and storytelling skills—able to engage, inspire, and influence a variety of audiences
• Strong relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders, including donors and alumni
• Excellent organisation and time management—juggling multiple projects with attention to detail
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with professionalism, energy, and a team-first attitude
