What Educate Plus has in store for you for 2019

Happy New Year! 

The team at Educate Plus wish you a happy and successful year and look forward to supporting you in 2019.

The year promises to be an extremely busy and productive one for us, with a record range of professional development opportunities available for you. 

Professional development opportunities in 2019 include our Certified Advancement Practitioner Training, Chapter Conferences, Regional Activities, Master Classes along with the launch of our new Advancement Essentials course for current and aspiring institutional leaders.

During the past year we have been looking for ways to enhance our Mentoring Program and I am delighted to announce that the Board has invested in what we believe to be the leading online mentoring platform in the world. The program has incredible features and resources and will be of real benefit to all our members – both mentors and mentees. Details regarding the launch will shortly be sent to members.

Planning is already well underway for the 2020 International Conference to be held in Adelaide. If you are interested in serving on the Conference Committee, please contact me directly – neil@educateplus.edu.au. We are looking for people to lead the various streams: Fundraising, Alumni & Community Relations, Marketing & Communications, Admissions and our new Leadership stream. The roles are not too onerous and provide many personal professional benefits.

Certified Advancement Practitioner Training Course:
2 & 3 May Grand Chancellor, Brisbane.
Courses on offer include Fundraising, Admissions, Alumni & Community Relations and Marketing & Communications. Registrations are now open on the website. Click here for further information. Cost $700 (excluding airfares and accommodation) Financial assistance is available in the form of travel subsidies and needs-based bursaries. Master Class Program
We are excited to announce that we have secured Lynne Wester, Geordie Mitchell and Ann Badger to run a series of Master Class programs across Australasia. These will cover Communications, Admissions and Bequests. Members may recall Lynne and Geordie were two of the top presenters at the Auckland International Conference, receiving outstanding feedback. As a result of this, we have contracted them to fly over from the United States to run a series of Master Classes for advanced practitioners. Registration and details to be shown on the website shortly. Currently the dates are as follows:
