Newsflash!! We are delighted to announce that Mandy McFarland was recently appointed as the new Chair of the Educate Plus Board.
Mandy is one of our most committed members and volunteer leaders. She joined ADAPE (as it was then) in 2003 and served on the WA Committee for 10 years, including as the WA President from 2012 – 2016. Mandy has served as a Director on the Board since 2012, during which time has been an incredibly active and supportive of our organisation. She has lead the Educate Plus rebrand, new website and style guide, whilst mentoring and assisting me and my Marketing and Communication Managers.
Mandy is incredibly busy in her own role as Director of Advancement at St Catherine’s College, UWA, yet always finds the time to give to our organisation and its members. She is a Fellow of Educate Plus and her mentoring of many members was recognised at the 2014 International Conference where she received the Mentor’s Award for Excellence and Service.
We are most grateful for her leadership, enthusiasm and skills and on behalf of you all we say, congratulations and best wishes on your new role as Chair of the Educate Plus Board!
We would also like to thank John Collins for his immense service as outgoing Chair of the Board and we are very fortunate to retain the services of both he and Di Lawrence who fulfil ongoing skills’ based roles on the Board. Also continuing is David Williams (WA) and I’d like to thank all these Directors for their efforts and enthusiasm in serving our members.
