Georgia Lynas
With over a decade of experience in the philanthropic sector, Georgia Lynas has built a career centred on strengthening relationships between donors and the causes they care about. Now a Donor Relations Manager at the University of Melbourne, she leads a small team dedicated to stewarding core annual giving programs and Gift in will donors.
Georgia’s journey began in the arts, where during a major capital campaign led a highly successful “name a seat” initiative—achieving the remarkable feat of having every seat dedicated. She also helped establish the organisations first formalised annual giving program, shaping her early understanding of donor engagement and program development.
Passionate about the critical role of stewardship in the donor lifecycle, Georgia advocates for embedding donor relations as a core strategic function rather than an afterthought.
