Dr Amanda Williamson
Dr Amanda Williamson is Director of the Deloitte New Zealand AI Institute, where she works with leaders to translate rapid advances in artificial intelligence into practical, real-world value. Her focus is on building organisational capability, supporting safe and scalable adoption, and helping teams move from experimentation to meaningful, responsible use.
Amanda previously led Deloitte’s national generative AI sub-offering, delivering solutions that significantly improved productivity and guiding the development of strategic roadmaps and governance frameworks for some of Aotearoa New Zealand’s largest organisations and public agencies.
With more than 15 years’ experience in AI and innovation — including doctoral research and ongoing academic work as a senior lecturer — Amanda brings a practical, collaborative and ethically grounded approach to technology-enabled change.
