About the Role
The Events Manager is responsible for the strategic planning, coordination, and execution of the College’s event calendar – from intimate gatherings and ceremonies to major community and fundraising events. This role builds on the school’s values and traditions, creating memorable experiences that strengthen engagement among students, staff, alumnae, families, and the broader community.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a comprehensive annual events calendar aligned to College priorities and community engagement goals.
- Lead major events including Open Day, Founders Day, reunions, fundraising functions, and celebrations.
- Coordinate all aspects of event delivery—concept development, budgeting, logistics, vendor relations, compliance, and post-event evaluation.
- Collaborate closely with the Communications team to leverage events for relationship-building and advancement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with parents, alumnae, local community members, and business partners.
- Ensure all events reflect the school’s values and meet safety and regulatory standards.

Essential qualifications and experience:
- Qualifications in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- Experience managing complex events.
- Strong project management and financial acumen.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends.
