We called them Reunion of the Decades at St Augustine’s College – Sydney and ran them for about 3 years. They worked well for me as I was new, and I met and connected with many Alumni quickly. However, the feedback was the same as yours that the different cohorts did not know each other as they were 10 years apart.
Since 2018 we have individual Class Reunions on different Saturdays in October or November. This year Classes of 1976, 1986, 1996, 2001 25-year reunion, 2006 and 2016 will come to the College campus for a Saturday afternoon 2-hour event which includes a simple BBQ, campus tour, photos and a couple of complimentary beverages. Then they go off to a nearby hotel or local brew house to keep the reunion going. RSVP is done through Humanitix and we collect contact details as we go.
This year our Class of 1996 30-Year Reunion have over 50 booked from a leaving class of about 65 and have some engaging activities for the Alumni to get involved with.
