Hi Sarah,
We are a secondary school community of approximately 2,600 students (Years 7–12). Our team includes a full-time Content Creator who produces video and photographic content, along with collateral such as flyers and posters.
The Content Creator also edits longer-form video into shorter segments for me, as Marketing Manager, to schedule and manage across our social media platforms. We capture a significant volume of content, including social media assets, Principal messages, Heads of Campus messages (x3), information sessions, and school productions and events.
The Content Creator works across two cameras, ensuring they are well positioned to capture both video and photography at events. Between us, we have access to a substantial amount of equipment, and any student involvement would utilise cameras from the media classroom.
From an engagement perspective, we consistently find that video content outperforms still photography in terms of reach and interaction.
Good luck. Hope this helps :)
