Hi Sarah,

I agree 2 days a week sounds amazing and I would love to have an additional member of my team dedicated to video and content creation, even part time. As it stands, our Marketing & Comms Manager handles most of the content. We have an external videographer we use for our long form videos and marketing campaigns, but otherwise, everything else is done in house.

We are a relatively small school, 470 students P-12, but rely a lot on video content to really try and capture the feel of our school and reach a wide audience. We have recently started engaging our current seniors to assist with social media content creation. TikTok & Insta reels in particular. The idea being life through the student’s lens, speaking student speak! The students capture the content, do the editing, then in comes to us to be approved and we upload.

I’m so interested that you do most of your creation yourself. I assumed from watching it that you had a team of creators!! It always look great, fun and engaging!

It sounds like we’re all in different boats within the same kind of storm. The demand for videography and content is huge, but the resources aren’t always prioritised. 🙄🤷🏼‍♀️
