Hi Sarah – I have a 4/day per week content creator, who also helps with general admin tasks. We take a lot of video on a dedicated mobile device that has been purchased for our team. In my management role, I’m also very operational and create a lot of video content myself – that includes shooting and editing. We do it quickly using capcut, imovie or premier pro. This is all predominantly for social media and the videos are short – 1-2 mins. They showcase events, activities, success stories etc.

Then we have a marketing manager. She will bring in a professional videographer to create the type of video that is created for promotional purposes for use on our website, on open days etc – so they’re generally storyboarded, scripted, videoed with a marketing intention and often includes interviews, teleprompter use, several different camera angles, microphones, lights etc. This doesn’t happen often – perhaps once or twice a year.

Alongside that, we have a couple of staff members who are extremely proficient at video and create video alongside their roles – for example, our clickview/livestream operator has a professional video setup with a green screen and we often ask her to assist with video creation – and we have a member of our experiential education team who creates videos of his team’s events that we will share.
