We’re essentially the same as above – our students have a locked down instagram for the student body as a whole and their House groups – I set them up each year and give access to the leaders as well as talk to them about why it is this way. This year with the talk around a social media delay for under 16s we also set up groups on My Mahi and requested that the student leaders share the same content across both platforms as a way to recognise our younger students may not naturally have instagram and not wanting to force them onto the platform in order to get student updates. Feedback from student leaders is that they have had students tell them that they’re grateful to have that option as they’re not on instagram.
