Further to my comment previously, I firstly there is a recruitment request form authorised by finance and the Headmaster, then use HR Onboard to load up the letter of offer and supporting documents which payroll hit go on once they have double checked the figures are right. I use a checklist which is kept on file to make sure everything that needs to get done is done. Payroll and I go through the spreadsheet I keep towards the end of every term to make sure we don’t overpay any fixed term contracts and anyone who might of been acting in higher duties or leadership, mat leave returns etc. I have a tab for each. I really wish there was once system for all of this. It feels awfully clunky and sounds worse when I type it out ha ha
