Hi Ros. This is an interesting area so I am here for the responses as well. We also now get both parties to sign, even if they only live with the one parent. Unless of course there is special circumstances ie. DV, court orders or they just have no contact at all. If there is a parent that they are not living with and have limited contact, we tend to not give them permission to provide consent etc. Generally, though unless there are court orders stating otherwise, they get equal access and information. In some circumstances we would ask the parent to fill out a new enrolment application so they are bound by that document. As I said, I am interested in what others do as well.
