It really depends on your budget and the occasion. For special occasions, like a retiring Board or Parent Auxiliary member, we give them a set of glasses etched with the school crest. Very popular and have prompted tears. For Open Day — the usual pens, notebooks (we get these printed in bulk in pads of 100, portrait DL and they are so handy), rulers never go astray, hi bounce balls (hugely appreciated by the kids) and ribbons in the school colours. Have done sunscreen, tape measures, torches, USBs, sticky highlight pads, travel coffee mugs, ceramic coffee mugs, nice drink bottles (not the el cheapo looking ones), charging adapters, etc in the past. Practical and good quality without breaking the budget.
