Hello Di – when Mailchimp upped their fees, I moved to another platform and it was horrendous – so I moved back.
When Eventbrite upped their fees, I decided to stay and now they have ‘removed’ the publishing fees (but not the crazy cost per ticket fee).
I would be considering ways to be able to publish the magazines on your own website rather than on a third party tool.
I have a WordPress website and when I upload a PDF as a FILE, it allows it to be viewed on the website page in various formats – this could be a way to reduce the cost altogether in the future.
Sometimes our goal is not to find a ‘cheaper’ fit but to find a solution that will keep people on our website and is sustainable over the long term (and saves us another set of logins or fees!).
