Genesis Christian College is a young school too and our early graduating cohorts were very small (10-30 people). We host an annual reunion event for the 10- and 20-year cohorts. We do this at an offsite venue. We also offer Alumni the opportunity to bring a plus one along to the event.
While we communicate that both cohorts will be at the same venue, we do design separate invitations for each cohort.
So far, this model has worked really well for us, and the nights are a great opportunity for us to connect with past students.
This year, we are launching a 1-year reunion, which will be held onsite. The idea behind this is that it is a bit more a check in with past students to make sure they are doing ok since finishing school. We will have our pastoral care team and careers team as well as last year’s Year 12 form teachers along for it.
