We hold Twilight Tours from 4pm to 6pm on a Tuesday afternoon. The first 45-60 minutes is the Deputy Principal and Director of Culture & Communities leading a tour of the campus. The second hour is the Principal and Director of Teaching & Learning presenting about our educational offering (we have adopted a contemporary learning model that is different from traditional schooling). I inherited these events when I started and have been surprised by how well they work after school – my previous experience was that having students and teachers in classes was always advantageous. But this really works well in our regional area and we have a great conversion rate with people who attend. We cap numbers at 40 people and they are very often booked out (although attendance is never 100% so we follow up with people who don’t make it).
