We’ve used Google Data Studio a number of times to create custom reports from aggregated data sources such as remote APIs, SQL queries, google sheets etc.

One way it can work to to have a google sheet setup that you copy/paste data into which will refresh your dashboard. You can sync data form there direct to a dashboard. Sometimes if you need to manipulate or standardise the raw data it’s simplest to do that in sheets before syncing to Data Studio. Sheets can also sync data from remote sources with the right know how.

May be worth a look as an option if the BI option doesn’t work out.
