We are phasing out the student-run Instagram accounts. While the media ban does not affect the day to day running of these accounts, a key issue is managing photo permissions for social media. Permission data is confidential, and since it is not shared with the student teams running the accounts, the publishing process can become inconsistent, and then it becomes something else our team needs to monitor as the custodians of the permissions process.

At present, these accounts are not used for formal communication but rather to showcase, celebrate and engage with current students. By the end of the year, the plan is to transition fully back to official school-managed social media channels only.
