Hi Owen – we also use Pixevety and love it – one word of caution however – we have just redone all our image use permissions to include the collection of biometric data that Pixevety uses to create face templates and also for image recognition. Our legal team advised us that we are not complying with the privacy regulator if we do not have informed consent from parents to collect biometric data. I’m happy to share the info if you’d like to contact me anytime my email address is ysher@moriah.nsw.edu.au – the process was painful to say the least, it took about two weeks to get 1600 permissions, and several phone conversations. The outcome is approximately 30 children across ELC to Year 12 who do not have permission for facial recognition.
