Hi Ingrid
Please see my comments below:
• Do you take formal co-curricular/team photos? Yes. Our large group photos are of all cocurricular (Sport, Arts, Service/Mission/Formation) groups. At my current school, we put all Volleyball (etc) students in one photo. But at my previous school, teams were separated (e.g. Volleyball 1st, Junior Volleyball, 7A Volleyball etc)
• If so, how are these shared with families (e.g. galleries, purchase options, school platforms. yearbook)? We share ours through Schoolbox, our LMS, as our photography company is linked with them. Parents will also see them in the annual Yearbook too. But we don’t offer team photos to parents to purchase as we found little take up in the last few years.
• Are co-curricular teams included in your yearbook, and if yes, to what extent? Yes. All cocurricular groups that were photographed are included.
• Do you differentiate between teams that represent the school in competitions versus clubs or internal co-curricular groups? Our school participates in more than one different Sport competition and we include all of these, labelled accordingly (e.g. GBC Netball; CaSSSA Football, BWPI Water Polo Team etc)
• Are there any co-curricular activities where you choose not to take photos, and why? No. The only groups we tend not to photograph are the come-when-you-want internal groups.
I hope this helps.
