About the Role
As Events and Social Media Manager, you’ll:
- Plan, coordinate, and deliver memorable events—on campus, offsite, and online—including Principal’s signature events, alumni reunions, graduations, and more.
- Create and manage engaging content across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and internal platforms, amplifying the MLC School brand.
- Build strong relationships with staff, parents, alumni, and external partners.
- Manage budgets, negotiate with venues and suppliers, and ensure every event runs smoothly.
- Support marketing initiatives and continuous improvement, always striving for excellence.
What You’ll Bring
- 5+ years’ experience in events coordination (school/education experience a plus!)
- Tertiary qualifications in Events, Business, or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
- Proven end-to-end event management skills and social media expertise
- Outstanding communication, organisation, and customer service skills
- A passion for girls’ education and the values of MLC School
- Willingness to undergo a Working with Children Check and uphold our Child Protection Policy
