Ivanhoe Girls’ Grammar School is an Anglican day school strongly committed to single sex education for girls. Catering for students from Early Learning Centre (Three Year Old) to Year 12, Ivanhoe Girls’ Grammar School seeks to provide excellence in education within a caring Christian community and to prepare young women for a personally and professionally fulfilling life.

About the role

This newly established role offers a unique opportunity to shape and lead the School’s philanthropic strategy (Towards 2040) in support of its Strategic Priorities and Values. The Head of Development will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive fundraising program that supports strategic priorities, including wellbeing education, cross-curricular learning, Indigenous cultural knowledge, and future-focused learning that benefits our students. This role is also responsible for stewarding donors and provides an opportunity to shape a new role and contribute to a legacy of excellence.

As the School moves towards its 125th anniversary in 2028, we are focused on innovation, inclusion, and building a strong philanthropic culture to support future generations of Ivanhoe Girls who attend or otherwise couldn’t attend the School without philanthropic support.

This is a part time (0.6 FTE) ongoing position.

  • Demonstrated ability in strategic planning and creative thinking, with well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
