I’ve been using Digistorm Funnel for 3 years and wouldn’t be without it now. I find managing comms, tracking enrolment progress for applicants, the automations and tasks functions are all a major help to managing the workload of admissions single-handed. I now have our finance team and uniform shop all using the system so we can bounce messages to each other to trigger the next steps in the enrolments journey for families. We use the bookings function for interviews and uniform appointments and this works really well. Overall it takes a lot of manual processes off your plate and is a massive time saver.
The downsides for my school is that it doesn’t integrate with our Student Management System so transferring the data across ready for the start of the year still has to be done manually. I am not a fan of the reporting functions either – for example I can’t easily pull a list of feeder schools for new students starting with us next year (but that might be a lack of knowledge on my part). Having the Enrol Type forms pre-filled with details you already on record is a big advantage for making the process easy for families – but be aware you have to pay if you want more than two of these form types in your system. Being in NZ I find the time difference with the customer support team a disadvantage as half the day is over before I can reach someone if there is an issue.
