We had school fees as part of a major one-off raffle back in 2018. This was held towards the end of a major campaign. The fees prize was considered ‘the school’s gift’ to this mini campaign. The tickets were NZ$100 and the total first prize pack was NZ$75,000 including fees at approx $20,000.
The winning ticket sold by a parent to her friend visiting from Australia who generously gifted the fees to the parent.
Huge amount of work and raised a substantial amount but some kick back from some families, all were asked to sell a book of 5 tickets each.
