
Ralph Barba
Media Professional and former School Teacher
Ralph has worked in professional media for 25 years, including 15 years as a presenter and producer in commercial radio with radio stations such as Triple M, SEN1116, and ABC Radio.
Prior to his media career, Ralph spent 16 years as a senior teacher in the western suburbs of Melbourne, including 12 years as a VCE coordinator and VCE assessor. He also spent 3 years as a sessional lecturer at Victoria University in media, business and sport.
In 2018, Ralph combined his passion for radio and education by launching LIVE FM – a global radio station dedicated to student voices in Australian schools.
Since its inception, LIVE FM has operated live radio and podcasting programs in over 300 schools across Australia, with more than 6,000 students having contributed broadcast content. The station has produced over 1,000 student podcasts and hundreds of hours of live radio from its work in schools.
