Are you a creative storyteller with a passion for digital engagement and community connection? Shellharbour Anglican College is looking for a dynamic Marketing and Events Coordinator to join our Advancement Team!
Located on a stunning green campus south of Wollongong, our College is a leading P-12 Christian school experiencing an exciting period of growth. We need an innovative communicator to capture the heart of our community and share it with our community and beyond.
The Role at a Glance
Position: Permanent Part-Time (0.6 FTE)
Focus: Digital Strategy, Content Creation, and Event Management
Key Impact: You’ll be the ‘voice’ of our digital platforms and the ‘architect’ behind our most memorable community events.
What You’ll Do
Digital Content: Manage our social media presence (FB, IG, LinkedIn) and create engaging video and photo content that shines.
Strategic Marketing: Work directly with the Principal to execute the College’s digital strategy and manage our online profile.
Events & Engagement: Coordinate end-to-end logistics for key milestones – from Mother’s Day breakfasts to Year 12 Valedictory dinners.
Publications: Produce our bi-annual Guwanyi Magazine and manage the College website.
Alumni Relations: Help build a thriving network for our past students.
What We’re Looking For
Experience: 3-5 years in Marketing, PR, or Communications (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
Skills: Exceptional copywriting, a “self-starter” attitude, and a talent for photography/videography.
Faith: An active Christian faith and a commitment to upholding the College’s Christian identity and child-safe culture.
Project Management: The ability to juggle a busy calendar of events and digital deadlines with ease.
