About MLC School

About the position
The position is responsible for the effective and efficient administration practices for the MLC School enrolments department to facilitate a strong pipeline of students for the School. Key responsibilities are the administration of the enrolments process, building positive relationships, and ensuring prospective parents are highly satisfied with the enrolment process.

The role requires a high level of attention to detail and customer service; plus a proactive approach to the engagement of all prospective parents and students, in both verbal and written communication.

Key accountabilities include but are not limited to:

  • Contribute to the efficient operations of the enrolments team by providing customer support and administrative service excellence.
  • Ensure effective administration practices progress prospective students’ applications through the enrolment funnel to meet agreed targets.
  • Manage enrolment enquiries including responding and tracking enquiries, process applications and payments for enrolment, generate and dispatch related correspondence, and prepare enrolment files for new students, mainly in the Junior School.
  • Manage the booking of interviews and preparing and receiving offer documentation for Junior School applicants.
  • Provide timely and accurate communication of data between prospective families and the School.
  • Manage the maintenance of enrolment waitlists and databases, mainly for Junior School applicants.
  • Work with the Registrar in preparing and executing the School’s enrolment events such as orientation programs, private tours, prospective student preview days, expos etc.

Selection Criteria:

  • Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, background in Mac operating systems is desirable.
    Capacity to accurately enter data into a database and to proof own work.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly developed organisational and interpersonal skills.
