ABOUT THE ROLE
The Director of Communications supports Barker College to communicate clearly, thoughtfully and consistently across the School’s professional and operational activities.
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and working closely with the Head of Barker College and senior leaders, the Director of Communications provides leadership in strategic writing, crisis and sensitive communications, media engagement and reputational matters. The role supports the careful shaping and expression of Barker’s story at significant institutional moments.
Through stewardship of communication principles, tone and timing, the Director of Communications supports major School communications to be well considered, appropriately sequenced and reflective of Barker’s values and Christian ethos.
