About the role:
Leading independent girls’ school, Camberwell Girls Grammar School presents an exciting opportunity for an experienced Community Engagement (Parents & Friends) Coordinator to join our Community Engagement team.

This is a part-time (0.8 FTE) ongoing position, commencing as soon as possible. Reporting to the Director of Engagement and Marketing, you will play a key part in supporting parent engagement programs, volunteer involvement and community-building activities that foster a strong sense of belonging among families.

You will make an impact by:
• Coordinate the planning and delivery of parent-focused engagement initiatives that strengthen community connection, participation and belonging. Ensuring activities are well planned, professionally delivered and aligned with School values.
• Support the effective operation and long-term sustainability of the PFA through positive relationship management and responsive support with the annual calendar of activities, events and initiatives.
• Coordinate volunteer engagement activities, including recruitment, onboarding, communication and recognition initiatives. Maintaining accurate records and documentation.
• Support the development and delivery of communications that promote parent engagement opportunities and community activities.
• Maintain accurate engagement records, databases and stakeholder information in accordance with School privacy and data management requirements.
• Contribute to the collection and analysis of participation data, feedback and engagement metrics.

To be successful, you will have:
• Tertiary qualifications in events, marketing or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement, community engagement, events, customer service, relationship management or a related field.
• Experience coordinating events, programs or activities involving volunteers and multiple stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive and productive relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to work flexibly in a role that includes both regular office-based responsibilities and attendance at community engagement activities outside standard business hours.
• High-level written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Experience maintaining records, databases and administrative systems with a high degree of accuracy.
• Previous experience in an education environment would be highly desirable

Due to the nature of the role, the successful candidate will be required to attend and support parent and community engagement activities, including events held both within and outside standard business hours.
