Woodford House is New Zealand’s largest boarding school for girls and has a long and rich history of 132 years educating and empowering young women for the brightest possible future.

About the Role
We are seeking a part-time Alumnae Engagement Officer to support and grow relationships with our alumnae community. This permanent role (20–25 hours per week) works closely with the Director of Communications and the Woodford House Old Girls’ Association Executive.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Delivering engaging alumnae communications across newsletters, email, social media and publications
  • Planning and coordinating alumnae events, reunions and special functions
  • Managing and maintaining accurate alumnae records and database
  • Acting as a key point of contact for alumnae enquiries and engagement
  • Providing administrative support to WHOGA and supporting Foundation related activities.

About You
You are an organised, approachable and digitally confident professional who enjoys working with people and building strong relationships.

You Will Bring:

  • Experience in communications, marketing, event coordination or a related field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Confidence using databases, Microsoft Office and social media platforms
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail
  • A professional, proactive and collaborative working style
  • A connection to the Woodford House community or experience working with membership or community organisations would be an advantage.

You must be eligible to work in New Zealand and satisfactorily pass all pre-employment checks such as Police Vetting and reference checking.
