Congratulations on 120 years!! We are in the process of planning our 100th also in 2027.I’m loving reading all the reply’s & ideas from other schools.
Our plan is 2-fold
1. to ‘centenar-ise’ the regular school events on the calendar and make them bigger and bring in aspects of our history ie the swimming sports that year will include novelty races we have discovered they used to do back in the 30s & 40s..or ..Our music director is keen to include Alumni in our biennial school production etc etc
2. Our bigger events will be a main weekend over 3 days, a casual event Fri night, school tours, decade group photos scheduled throughout the day, Gala dinner, chapel on Sunday. We are also hoping to host a couple of international Alumni get togethers earlier in the year. Along with a few other smaller events over the year and finishing off the year with a fundraising campaign.
